The Difference We Aim To Make

Practical support
Connection
for families
  • How can I recommend “the hub” or explain it to parents in a way that describes it best …well I think it’s in the name itself…it’s a “community hub”….whilst the kids, a lot of them are young and love to go and run around and have fun …they will get older and as parents we always want our kids to feel they have somewhere to go where they can feel safe, comfortable and seen. We all need connection, places to go for fun, people to engage with, and those things themselves can be difficult for individuals with ASD.

I am determined to forge friendships for my kids in “the hub” and for myself, as we all know how isolating and difficult every day life is…we don’t need to be reminded…and an hour in the hub to have a laugh, get tips and chat to people who simply “get it” is just invaluable.

The hub is for us all… We need to broaden our circles for our kids and this is a great start…the very best of luck to David and all his team…

  • The Hub has been a game changer for Jake.

This Easter it’s been it’s been a safe place where he can play, grow, and find his feet. For me, it’s a space to chat, laugh, spend quality time with him, and just breathe. Having the time to play and just be with him in such a perfect, supportive environment is pure magic.

It’s been amazing to meet so many other parents and see so many children, all with different needs, just having fun and enjoying each other’s company.

  • The Autism community hub has been a true lifeline for our family. It has given my daughter a safe, welcoming place where she can play, be herself, and be accepted exactly as she is — without judgement.

It has also brought us together with other parents who understand, support, and lift each other up. Watching our children build friendships in such a kind and inclusive space means more than words can say. We are so grateful for a place that offers not just support, but belonging. Thank you so much!

  • David I was told about the hub a few times before and I was told it was a magical place but knowing my boy and how much he struggles with new places and dislikes play centres I was very nervous to go. But they did not lie when they said it's magical. my son absolutely loved it . This is the first time in years we go somewhere and he does not want to go home immediately ,he was so regulated and happy for hours. I wish we came sooner. thanks so much for your hard work, you're honestly changing lives!
